Her Untold Story

She was an angel, stunner, talk of valley
and everyone adored her who crossed the alley.
It skipped two generations of woman  in the town
but it sure didn't bypass her connoisseur of beauty.

She had blonde curls, thick lashed and turquoise
green eyes with shyness. Pout of her lip,
dimpled cheekbones, ravishing curve of her hips
was charismatic and made everyone ecstatic.

Forcefully, one day she was given a long-sleeved
dark green dress to wear and she held some fear.
Mirror beneath her veil showed her own arch-less
face, eyebrows set so close together.

Her skin was coarse and had spotty appearances.
In mirror, their gazes met briefly. The big, square
, rudder face and she had first glimpse of him.
She could no longer resist tear and held a fear.

Fear of her father being ashamed of her. The Koran
were kissed, hands shook and she consciously
signed to be a wife throughout the life. Her adieu
to father was more of awkwardness and perplexing.

On farewell, her father looked down like an
overgrown child and muttered, "I'll visit and how is he?"
She gave him wounded look and said

"say your good-byes because it ends here for you and me".
